Melamine is my new everyday

I've never been big on using my glass plates for everyday but rather liked using cheap plastic plates I picked up at Target. Use them for awhile, then toss them out and buy some new ones. Several months ago I switched from buying my seasonal lightweight plastic to buying melamine plates. I love them! Now you can't put them in the micro but they are dishwasher safe which is more important. If I had to handwash them, I definitely wouldn't be buying them. The ones I bought are pretty but plain-no design. I don't know if since I just bought these I've been noticing them more but they seem to be popping up everywhere. I would love to start collecting some melamine plates like these. There are so many cute monogrammed ones..it's hard to decide.
